On August 26, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, AYLUS Pearland prepared for a
weekend on-site garage sale to support school clubs.
Over the previous weeks leading up to this day, volunteers began donating clothes,
toys, appliances, necessities, and more. They posted the selected items on Facebook
and other social media platforms. On the preparation day, volunteers set up stands
such as clothing racks and boxes, also occasionally writing signs for advertisement.
Some customers also arrived to pick up the items they bought online. During this event,
volunteers not only sorted hundreds of items but also got to communicate with
customers, advocating for this sale as well as collected over $511 towards the
fundraiser.
