In August 2022, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS continued a volunteer program with local Animal Shelter (Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 West Route 10, East Hanover, NJ 07936, https://njshelter.org/), and helped to find loving homes for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, amphibians, and/or fish.
The Animal Shelter is a wonderful place dedicated to providing medical care, animal fostering and adoption opportunities, and training services to dogs and cats that have dealt with unfortunate circumstances in NJ.

Walk and socialize animals under handling guidelines and based on scheduled hours; Feed animals; Change water; Give treats, toys and blankets in kennels; Clean kennels and office areas; Organize supplies; Clean debris and feces from all indoor and outdoor areas; Screen applications for foster and adoption; Assist with Meet & Greets.
