On Sunday, August 28th, the AYLUS Columbus branch volunteered at the Dublin Giving Garden at Coffman Park. The volunteers watered the plants in the garden, careful to not overwater them, and removed weeds from inside and around the garden, properly placing them inside the compost bin. All the plants, including different types of fruits and vegetables, were growing very well and many were ready for harvest. In total, 7 full bags of produce were harvested, including tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, and green beans. Careful attention was provided as to not damage the produce.
