In collaboration with Pearland Parks and Recreation, AYLUS volunteers helped to set up and
decorate Independence Park for the upcoming July 4th Celebration of Freedom Event. On July 3rd,
2022, AYLUS Pearland worked for 3 hours from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Volunteers were split into
groups to set up bunting and banners, attaching them to the surrounding fences. They walked back
and forth throughout the field and worked as a team to set up all the decorations. Volunteers also
helped fill water coolers for the hot weather.
