From June 6 to June 26, AYLUS Pearland hosted a donation drive to support families in Mexico. Volunteers collected clothes for adults and kids, school supplies, and bed and bedding supplies, which were dropped off to the four designated locations. After June 26, the collected items were first transferred to a local church and then delivered to the First Baptist Church of Matamoros. Through this event, AYLUS collected over 2,000 items to donate to people in Mexico.
Either one or two service hours were assigned to the donors and other volunteers based on the number of donated items, the time spent to prepare and deliver the items to one of the four drop off locations, as well as designing, managing, recording, receiving, and loading donated items.
