On April 23, 2022, AYLUS Pearland worked with Keep Pearland Beautiful to organize an Earth Day Event containing many activities such as face painting, plant sales, and recycling. Our volunteers helped set up the butterfly tent in the morning, where many families went to interact with the butterflies later in the day. Additionally, volunteers helped with the many crafts and games available, in which many kids were able to participate in a scavenger hunt to collect certain stickers. This event helped promote appreciation for our Earth as we made sure to leave our surroundings cleaner than before we arrived.
Volunteers participated:
Early Morning Shift (3 hours): Aoyu Jin, Chenyu Jin, Joshua Wu
Morning Shift (2.5 hours)Angelina Xiao, Haoqi Zhang, Zixuan Liu, Thomas Liang, Alexander Healy
Afternoon Shift (3 hours): Sophia Fu, and Yurui He, Erica Gao.
