In January-April of 2022, Phoenix AYLUS members made paper lanterns, cutouts of Chinese characters symbolizing luck, and paper dragons. After many hours of folding, cutting, and gluing, the crafts were finally ready for donation for seniors, bringing an air of health, fortune, and longevity to their community.
