Through the month of February, AYLUS paired with BSA troop 414 and Houston BARC to hold a food and toy drive for animal shelters. Donators could send dog food, cat food, any toys or supplies, collars, leashes, litter boxes, and any beds. By February 28th, the donated items include 183.6 pounds of cat food, 594 pounds of dog food, 852 oz. of treats, and 244 pounds of cat litter. 4 beds, 3 scratching sets, 2 large cages, 100 pads, 1 food storage, 6 feeding pans, and other supplies like blankets, animal clothing, leashes, collars, etc. In addition, a few pets toys were also supplied to the organization. The event was a success.
