On March 11th, from 6 PM to 8 PM, AYLUS Pearland branch once again partners up with Glenda Dawson High School’s Asian Culture Appreciation Club (ACAC) to host the annual LunarFest, in celebration for the Chinese New Year in Feburary. Though belated, the event was no less a success, bringing in over a hundred students to experience the entirely student crafted festival. AYLUS members Andy Gu, Ella Lu, Andy Jiang, Melissa Geng, Fred Guo, and Kate Liu volunteered to bring cultural food to enrich the experience for festival goers. Overall, AYLUS is grateful for the continued collaboration with ACAC to bring together LunarFest, and is always happy to celebrate Asian culture in interactive and fun ways.
