On March 27th, from 6 to 11 PM, AYLUS Pearland branch partners with Race Roster and Pearland Parks & Recreation to host the Annual Pearland Half Marathon & 10K. Approximately one hundred runners prepared to come to Independence Park to race. AYLUS members helped hand out medals and water at the finish line as well as around the racetrack itself. Additionally, volunteers helped out at the front booths to pass out shirts and register in runners, as well as carrying supplies like crates of water to runners. Overall, the event was a success, and AYLUS Pearland hopes to continue its partnership with Race Roster and Pearland Parks & Recreation to make events like this available for the community.
