On March 20, 2022, the Irvine Branch participated in a morning watering event held at Peters Canyon Regional Park from 7:30 – 9:30 AM.
We woke up early and volunteered at the regional park, helping water plants which needed the resources. As a group, we learned more about the preservation of these biodiverse ecosystems which would often rely on the right circumstances to thrive, helping them help us. We watered plants, from ordinary garden species to even cacti. We were very grateful to be able to give back to our community and continue to sustain the next generation of our environment.
