On January 16th, 2022 several members of the Riverside County branch got together to paint and write cards and letters for the elderly. Initially, the branch had planned to return to the senior care home for another concert this month, however, due to the increase in Covid cases, it was decided to postpone this event to ensure the safety of our members and the elderly.
Instead, the branch decided to do cards and letters which included hand-painted drawings as well as encouraging and uplifting messages for the seniors. This pandemic has hit many nursing homes hard and many seniors have been isolated from their loved ones for months. In order to combat the loneliness and despair that some of these seniors might feel, the group has decided to uplift them with their cheerful drawings and positive messages.
