On December 26th, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers hosted a tutoring Program. The program allows volunteers to provide guidance on a wide array of academic topics to interested students.
The tutoring event focused on ensuring that students understood the topics of discussion. In this event, an English writing, Asian History and 8th Grade math workshop was set up for attendees.
Ryan Hua tutored Darren Cui, Katherine Backues, Eva Mather, Tristan Shi, and Annabelle Liao on Asian History on Sunday, 12/26, for an hour and a half.
Serena Liu tutored Kate Liang on 8th Grade Math on Sunday, 12/26, for an hour and a half.
Joyce Lin tutored Angela Li on English Speaking and writing on Sunday, 12/18, for an hour and a half.
In total, there were 10 participants in this event, with 3 volunteers.
