In December, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) concluded its collection of holiday gifts, aiming to warm the hearts of seniors in nursing centers during this holiday season.
As the days are getting colder, it’s important to think of how we can help the people around us, especially those who may not be able to see family or loved ones over break. Because of this, GPA has been hosting a Christmas initiative to send donations to Brookdale Senior Living in Hillsborough, NJ.
GPA has collected donations of items such as hand sanitizer, hand soap/lotion, face mask, snacks (chips, cookies, etc), tissues and toilet paper, paper towels, digital or hand-written letters to seniors, and more!
On December 26th, GPA members hand-delivered their holiday gifts to seniors at Brookdale Hillsborough (600 Auten Rd) and concluded the event for the 2021 holiday season.
