In December, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) and National Career Development Committee continued its Career Development Seminars open to all American students. The seminars introduce the professional requirements and industry status of different occupations to young people, helping students choose their future life directions. We also want more people to get introduced to AYLUS through these career development seminars.
Topic of this seminar is about Data Science, a newly emerging field involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer science. What does a data scientist look like? Learn how to direct your life towards a data scientist!
At the 9th Seminar, Dr. Zhang Lanjing, Vice Chair of Pathology at Princeton Medical Center & Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, talked about data science and machine learning in epidemiology and population studies in his lecture, “Integration and Analysis of High-Dimensional Clinal and ‘Omic Data – Part 2,” and answered questions in a Q&A session.
