On 11/30, the members of the Chapel Hill branch helped out at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, a shelter that aims to provide for families of seriously ill children that must travel from across North Carolina and beyond for specialized treatment at area hospitals, by making home-cooked meals. Our team worked hard to ensure that each meal was up to standard and had enough food to be filling. We cooked from 3:30 to 6:30 and shopped for the ingredients an hour beforehand. Each meal consisted of a hand-tossed Caesar salad, dinner rolls, rice, dumplings, and chicken. In the end, we were super grateful to be able to help out the families and finished off with packaging a total of 25 meals!
