Fantastic Friends of WNY hosts social events for children and adults with Autism, TBI, Down Syndrome, ADHD and other developmental/ intellectual disabilities. Each disabled individual is paired with a volunteer to help interact with others and participate in activities. Events are fun and provide a variety of social/ learning experiences.
On November 23, 2021, three members from AYLUS Williamsville volunteered at the Science Club and Kitchen Life Skills Club to help children with developmental disabilities learn science as well as some basic skills. We prepared the materials and guided these children to build volcanoes using baking soda and vinegar.
