On 11/13/21, AYLUS Manhasset held their weekly English modification session over zoom from 8-9pm. The session lasted one hour.
As usual, members used different techniques and prepared various different lessons to help with learning and encouraging practice with pronunciation and attempts to pronounce and learn new words. For example, Matthew used his lizard to teach body parts by giving a visual and to make the lesson more engaging. Reading articles would also be used to experience and practice a variety of words while learning about new topics.
For the most part, students are improving with pronunciation and are able to pronounce words more fluently. However, some students have trouble with words whose origin are from another language but it can be easily remedied through more practice and experience.
