On November 6th, AYLUS members from the Bellaire branch came together with other volunteer groups to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Trailwood village by planting trees throughout the parks and trails. The Trailwood board was very passionate and everyone was eager to help, the AYLUS members had together planted three trees and learned how to measure the depth of a hole for a tree. It was a great learning experience that brought the community closer together. Trees are vital to humans, they provide oxygen and support wildlife. Planting just one will do good for the environment.
