On Saturday, October 23rd, members of the AYLUS Columbus Branch volunteered for the city of Dublin through the Keep Dublin Green initiative. From 9:30-11:15 a.m., volunteers picked up trash and recyclable items at Indian Run Falls Park in Dublin, Ohio. They split up into three different groups to cover the entirety of the nearly mile-long trail. Along with the park trail, volunteers also ventured along the park creek to collect additional trash. By the end of the event, each of the three groups had collected bags full of litter, which they then disposed of safely. The volunteers showed their hard-working and diligent attitudes as they participated in this event. Their efforts to keep Indian Run Falls “green” certainly exemplified the excellent work that AYLUS members do for their communities.
