East Cobb Branch Participated at CNC Halloween Hikes on Oct 23, 2021

On October 23rd, AYLUS members volunteered for Halloween Hikes hosted by the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC). Throughout the trail, there were about ten different characters that put on a skit for the children to enjoy. At the end, there were concession stands with refreshments and snacks, as well as a bonfire for s’mores. From 6 PM to 10 PM, volunteers acted as trail guides for more than 50 groups, rotating through shifts about every hour. Along the hike, they could also interact with the kids and help them to have a more immersive experience.

This was a fun and engaging volunteer opportunity for us to give children a good time for Halloween season.
