On Thursday, October 14th, and Friday, October 15th, members of the AYLUS Columbus branch volunteered at Dublin’s Spooktacular Halloween event, a Halloween festival for elementary and preschool-aged children located at Coffman Park. Volunteers partook in a variety of different tasks that ensured the event’s success: patrolling a hay maze, aiding an arts and crafts table, and overlooking children’s games. Through these efforts, the volunteers successfully supported this great event. They showed their affinity for community service and their ability to interact with children. Overall, the efforts by the volunteers over the two-day event helped ensure the success of the Spooktacular event while also exemplifying some of the great characteristics of AYLUS members.
