The devastating 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001 killed and injured thousands of people in its attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. During these attacks, many firefighters and police officers sacrificed their lives to rescue civilians.
On September 15th, the Warren Branch honored firefighters during the 20th anniversary of 9/11 in an event organized by the Greater Princeton Branch. Members visited the local Warren Volunteer Firefighter Department and donated meals for the firefighters, which included boxes of drinks, donuts, chips, and more. Members also chatted with the firefighters.
The Warren Branch would also like to thank the Princeton branch for organizing the event and inviting them.
