During the first week in August, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers continued their sciences Challenge Camp Program. The program allows volunteers to provide guidance on the sciences to interested students.
They taught over Zoom or Facetime, helping students learn scientific topics. Volunteers placed an emphasis on helping their students understand the subjects of their teachings. Their sciences challenge camp activities included:
Luke Qiao taught his students Angela Xue, Christina Huang Java Coding on Saturday, 8/7, for one and a half hours.
Hausen Wu taught his students William Cheng, Brian Yang, Stephen Ye, and Emily Huamg python on Saturday, 8/7, for one and a half hours.
Jeffrey Guo taught his students Martin Nguyen, Byron Lu, and Adam Nyugen precalculus math on Wednesday, 8/4, for one and a half hours.
In total, there were 16 participants in this event, with 3 volunteers.
The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 75th online Sciences Challenge Camp activity on the first week of August, 2021.
