On July 31st 2021, members from the Bergen branch hosted a park cleanup at the Overpeck Park in Bergen County. We partnered with the Bergen County Department of Health Services to organize the cleanup. Much of the litter was collected by docks and boat launching sites as a lot of litter would wash up on the riverbanks and shores. We also found that a good amount of litter was left on some of the hiking trails.
