On May 15th, 2021, AYLUS hosted its 14th Leadership Summit & Seminar for student leaders and advisers from all 92 branches to promote youth volunteering across the country.
National President Cassie Tammy Wang (5/13, 6 hrs) worked with Karen Yang (5/8, 8 hours) to prepare seminar slides on the operation and activities of the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA).
GPA has been one of the most active branches. Both NJ and NY State Senate & Great Assembly recognized GPA members for their life saving community service. GPA received AYLUS Branch of the Month and Branch of the Year rewards since 2018.
A productive Q&A section & active discussion regarding how to encourage AYLUS members to take part in volunteer activities across the country followed Cassie’s presentation (5/15, 6 hrs of presentation and video production). The presentation sparked more national and local AYLUS events for the near future!
