For a week (04/17-04/25) in the month of April, Albany branch members built and set up boxes for collecting the books at their local YMCA. They were surprised to find an immense amount of books that were donated as the bins overflowed twice! In one week, they collected a grand total of ~506 books/CDs/DVDs (it took a lot of sorting)!!!! The branch is extremely grateful to everyone who donated their spare books! They dropped the books off at two locations: the Salvation Army and The Whitney Book Corner! Again, the branch is amazed by the number of donations received within a week!
