This week, Edmond branch member Jenna Jiang spent 1 hour everyday during Spring Break to work on the archives. She spent the majority of her volunteer time tagging pictures and transcribing scanned documents from the 1920 census. Most of the documents from the 1920 census were handwritten and had not been transcribed or tagged thus far, so Jenna will continue to work on these documents in the future. By transcribing and tagging historical documents, she is helping the national community by making these archives more relevant and easier to find.
