Phoenix AYLUS Made Beautiful Lanterns for Chinese Seniors to Celebrate Lantern Festival

The Lantern Festival or the Spring Lantern Festival is a Chinese festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar. Usually falling in February or early March on the Gregorian calendar, it marks the final day of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. Lantern Festival in this year is Feb 26 2021.

Phoenix AYLUS members made a lot of beautiful Chinese traditional lanterns, lantern riddles and other art crafts like paper cuts/folding for Chinese Seniors to cheer up lantern festival spirit. Especially under COVID, Most seniors are recommended to stay at their own apartment to minimize the exposure and risk to the COVIDS. So, the Chinese seniors are isolated and feel lonely during Chinese traditional holiday.
