In January 2021, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.
GPA members Karen Yang, Kevin Song, Kathy Yang continued their Algebra content. First, they gave the kids a check in question. After, they reviewed some homework assigned. Then, they gave the kids a lesson on Algebraic expressions, including what they were, how multiplication works with variables, common misconceptions and how to truly solve them. Next, they did some harder math exponent practice, with students doing hands-on problems. Finally, they introduced homework and a Gimkit review game on the content of today.
GPA member Annie Miao (1/17, 2 hrs): This week, Annie had a review for her tutee on square roots and solving for x. She then explained how to use the distributive property and combine like terms with x on both sides of the equation.
GPA member Annabelle Huang (1/17, 2 hrs): Annabelle also continued teaching her students in Edison on PSAT for math.
