During the Winter Break of 2021, Missouri City Branch members started a new project to grow Mealy Blue Sage seeds for the Memorial Park. The members first learn how to grow seeds from YouTube video, then sow the wildflower seeds in starter trays, the ultimate purpose is to transplant the seedlings into the Memorial Park when the frost season has passed. They make daily observations of the growth, give plants plenty of water in dry weather, move the trays outdoor during the day in a sunny location and back indoor at night. They also take notes of the germination and share the progress with each other.
Each member in the branch participated in this activity.
