Phoenix Branch Makes Heart Pillows for Hospitals on December 30, 2020

The Recovery Pillow was designed as a post-surgical support pillow for heart surgeries and/or other surgeries. It is heart-shaped and covered in flannel fabric. It is stuffed with fiberfill (stuffing) to allow the pillow to adjust to each patient’s comfort needs, while still maintaining the needed support required.
The project is continuous. We plan on 4-6 pillows per month for ICU at the Chandler Regional Medical Center. In the future, we can make more for other hospitals if we have enough supplies.
Attached pattern. 12inch long Ribbon for holding. Keep in mind pillows need to be generously filled with stuffing to provide good support.
