On December 24th, 18 members of the East Cobb Branch made holiday cards, arts & crafts, and posters for the seniors at local senior centers.
Due to the current pandemic, members were not able to visit the local senior centers for the annual holiday performances. Even so, the members still wanted to do something special, such as hand-making cards and crafts for the seniors. Members who participated wrote cards, created crafts and origami, and designed posters wishing the seniors well and a happy holiday season. Once the gifts were made, some members dropped them off at three different senior centers on Christmas Eve. The seniors and staff were overjoyed when the members brought them these cards and crafts. Members felt great knowing that they could still do something nice for their community despite having to socially distance.
