Phoenix Branch Makes Bouquets of Christmas Flowers for Senior Centers in December 2020

During the end of November and early December in 2020, members of the AYLUS-Phoenix made christmas flowers for donation to seniors centers for a total of 30 hours. This project was put in action to spread the holiday spirit to everyone this year. These bouquets were made with a variety of flowers and then tied or wrapped together. The primary colors of the flowers are green, red, and white, which are known as the colors that represent the Christmas season. This event is important because the Phoenix Branch is continuously making an effort to serve everyone in the community despite the hardships that the COVID-19 pandemic provides. These bouquets will shortly be delivered to local senior centers, and branch members look forward to seeing all the happy smiles in the holiday season!

The youth members that participated in this event were Marie Chen (16hours), Amy Xie (8 hours), and Angelina  Zhang (6 hours).
