East Cobb Branch Holds Senior English Tutoring on the week of Aug. 24-30, 2020

On 08-27-20, Bryan Yang from the East Cobb Branch participated in the English Tutoring Program and tutored for 1 hour.

This program’s goal is to provide English guidance to the elderly who do not know much English. Volunteers are needed for 1 on 1 tutoring sessions. By helping these elderly improve their English, the goal is to make communication smoother and life easier for them.

We used an app called WeChat to voice chat, our only issue is that sometimes the app we use to teach has ads.

My overall thoughts on the lesson is that I think the whole class went well and the elder I was teaching was very hardworking.
