On August 9th, a member of the Clarksville branch attended and sang the National Anthem at the celebration of Veteran Colonel Schott’s 100th birthday. Naomi Ling was honored to be a significant part of the event, which both commemorated the Colonel’s service to his country and also the veterans of Howard County as a whole.
Naomi also attended on behalf of the Students Partner with Veterans Club, which intends to connect students with veterans through meaningful events such as veteran interviews, parades, commemorations, and more. This club has since expanded to branches in states all over the country, including California, New Jersey, and Maryland.
