The East Cobb branch of AYLUS made face shields for hospitals. Members worked together to create, package, and assemble face masks.
The process of packing the masks was simple. After organizing them into groups, they were ready to be packed. Each mask was placed in a bag and then into a box.
After packaging them all up, they were ready to be shipped off. We placed them in boxes. Although it took some time and patience to pack these masks, it is comforting to imagine how happy the medical staff would be when they receive these special gifts. Even though it wasn’t much, our Each Cobb branch was happy to be able to do something for the nurses who were risking their lives everyday to help us and keep us safe during this pandemic..
