On Friday, April 3rd, 2020, AYLUS East Cobb Branch donated 4,000 masks to the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Hospitals are in dire need of face masks due to the large number of doctors and patients. If they can protect themselves, they can better treat more patients.
With the outbreak of COVID-19 in the States, AYLUS East Cobb Branch launched a fundraising campaign to purchase face masks and donate to our local hospital. Thanks to the RUC Investors Groups, “In Love We Connect” program, they matched our contribution to purchase 4,000 surgical masks, making our third donation to Kennestone Hospital one of our largest donations.
In this time of uncertainty, AYLUS hopes to do its part in helping the front-line heroes risking their lives fighting this disease.
