On March 8, 2020, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) Humanitarian Care Team went to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home to stick to their volunteer activities between 1pm and 5pm.
The GPA volunteers walked around the residents’ rooms, socializing with the seniors with flowers and gifts, news and stories. Later the volunteers helped veterans go to the town square, joining the party. The veterans had a great time with volunteers’ care. The volunteers also feel the joy of caring for others while serving the community.
