On January 4th, 2020, the AYLUS Basking Ridge members went back to Fellowship Village and performed for the residents. Member Lily Mei’s family brought their own microphone and amplifier. Lily sang “What Child is This” by herself and collaborated with her dad on “Happy Birthday, Jesus”. The audience was so touched and a couple of senior ladies gave her hugs and kisses. Andrew Gu, Sarah Ouyang, Stephanie Lu, and Joey Huang performed pieces on piano, cello, and flute. The highlight of the concert came when former members Jimmy Yu and Albert Gu performed piano violin duet. Both Jimmy and Albert were founding members for AYLUS Basking Ridge. When they heard about the concert, they got together and worked on several of their favorite pieces and brought them to the seniors. What a good way to start the new year!
