On January 18, 2020, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at Mountain View Regional Library. A total of six students showed up, with two tutors to help the students.
The East Cobb Branch holds the Youth Tutoring program every Saturday during school days, giving kids in the Cobb area an opportunity to receive help. The interaction between tutors and students also makes learning more enjoyable.
This time, the tutors taught six students. All six of them were elementary schoolers. The tutors worked on a variety of subjects with their students. The program gives students a comfortable environment to ask for help in academic subjects such as reading, writing, and math.
