On January 11, 2020, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at Mountain View Regional Library. A total of four students showed up, with two tutors to help the students.
The East Cobb Branch holds the Youth Tutoring program every Saturday during school days, giving kids in the Cobb area an opportunity to receive help. The interaction between tutors and students also makes learning more enjoyable.
This time, two tutors taught four students. Three were elementary school students and one was a middle school student. The tutors worked on a variety of subjects with their students. The program gives students a comfortable environment to ask for help in academics students such as writing, math, and science.
