On January 4th, the Houston Branch teamed up with Katy Responds, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding and restoring homes damaged by Hurricane Harvey. Although the storm made landfall more than two years ago, an estimated 2500 homes remain damaged and in need of repair. In response, branch members joined Katy Responds to landscape a home in the final stages of restoration. Directed by senior leadership from Katy Responds, the team pulled weeds, dug up bulbs, planted trees, and placed mulch on beds.
