On November 27, the Houston Branch assisted with the setup process for the annual Katy YMCA Turkey Dash, hosted by the Monty Ballard YMCA. All proceeds from this event benefit Better Us Campaign and help provide scholarships to programs such as childcare, summer camps, swim lessons, sports leagues and assistance to various area outreach programs. Members provided critical support with event infrastructure, moving tables, preparing snacks, and setting up signage to ensure that the race ran smoothly.
