On November 22, 2019, four members of the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS made 100 Thanksgiving Cards for the senior centers they perform at. The East Cobb Young Musicians would perform at three senior centers the next day at which they would distribute the cards to the seniors.
The cards were made of cardstock and included many thoughtful messages that wished the recipient a Happy Thanksgiving. The members took turns cutting the cards, writing the messages, and attaching decorative leaf stickers.
The members felt joyful writing the cards to the seniors to celebrate this Thanksgiving holiday. They were happy that they could use their talent in writing and crafting to bring happiness to the seniors’ hearts by making these cards for them.
