More than 300 students representing FBISD high schools came together for a day of soul searching, reflection and learning as they took part in the annual High School Diversity Conference. The Diversity Conference gives high school students around the district a chance to engage with peers. This year, FBISD students are taking action to end the stigma behind mental health. The conference was a smash success. Students from the DSVA and other groups were the real heroes of the day. They prepared the event and made sure the conference run through smoothly. Members of AYLUS Fort Bend branch were honored to be part of the student groups who contributed enormous time and energy. Preparing work was carried out for days before the meeting. Total volunteering time was approximately 12 to 16 hours.
