It was a very successful day! At the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Huntington park, it was a sea of purple, a color representing fight for Alzheimer’s disease. In the family activity area, AYLUS member Erica Shen and Fantastic Faces leader Sydney Seeto，members Julia Chen and Catherine Wu worked together at face painting booth. Kids and adults were very excited to have their face painted before the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In total, they estimated painted 200 faces with various designs between 11am to 2:30pm. By the end of the event, Fantastic Faces had collected $54 in tips and all proceeds were donated on behalf of Fantastic Faces team to Alzheimer’s Association.
