East Cobb Branch Youth Tutoring 2019-2020 I – Mountain View Library

On August 17, 2019 the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at Mountain View library.  A total of 2 students showed up, with 2 tutors to help the students. In two hours tutoring, our tutors helped to sort and re-shelf the books as well.

The East Cobb Branch holds the Youth Tutoring program every Saturday during school days, giving kids in the Cobb area an opportunity to receive help. The interaction between tutors and students also makes learning more enjoyable.

This time, the tutors taught 2 students. Both were elementary school students. The tutors worked on a variety of subjects with their students, such as Math and Reading.

Mountain View library is new to us, with the promotion from the library, we expect more students join in our East Cobb Youth Tutoring program in the near future.

Attendance: Gary Mei (2 hours), Larry Cai (2 hours)
