Great Princeton AYLUS Humanitarian Care Team Continued Summer Volunteering Project (11th) in Hospital on July 17, 2019

On July 17, 2019, Greater Princeton AYLUS “Humanitarian Care” Team went to Changzheng Hospital in Shanghai to continue their summer volunteering activities.

They went to the elderly rehabilitation ward, sending love and care. The medical staff, introduced them some common geriatric diseases. The elderly patients have an urgent need for humanistic care, which is important to rebuild their confidence in life. With the development of science and technology, the aging of the population is becoming an important social issue. Through today’s activities, the volunteers learned more about geriatric diseases and nursing, laying a more solid professional foundation for future volunteer activities at veteran home. Zixiong Wang also worked as volunteer at the desk of appointment, registration, fees, patiently and persistently helping patients
