On February 15, 2019, AYLUS Pearland partnered with the Dawson High School Asian Culture Club to host the annual Lunar New Year Festival at Dawson High School. Hundreds of people from all over the community came to the event for food, games, and fun.
Before the event, members of AYLUS and Dawson High School’s Asian Culture Club donated food dishes, such as dumplings, fried rice, and noodles, for the event. During the event, volunteers distributed food, set up games and ran them, and had a show featuring many performances from volunteers.
